Acts 8:1-24

Lesson 13        Acts 8:1-24

Introduction The Jewish religious establishment were losing members and priests and apparently with the increased activity of Stephen they turned their vengeance on him as a representative of Jesus of Nazareth.  While Stephen was being stoned they laid their robes at the feet of a young man named Saul who picks up the role of persecuting the Christians.  Then we see an account of a man, Simon, being saved who later sins and we learn how to be saved and how to be forgiven when we sin after being saved.  Acts 7:51-60 scripture reading for a quick review.
